Descriptive Paper

Introduction: The descriptive essay is to describe an observation of what a writer saw. This description is based on the Japanese animator My Neighbor Totoro by Hayao Miyazaki. It is the first short essay I wrote in my university.

Cause&Effect Paper

Introduction: The Cause & Effect Essay is to analyze the causes and effects of an event. This essay focuses the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

I really enjoyed working on this project, one of the bigger ones in the field. It gave me an opportunity to be creative and do things a little outside of the box. I also had to push myself to meet tight deadlines. I’m proud of the work I did on Commercial Project and would love to discuss it with you in more detail.

Introduction: The Process Essay in ENG1300 course is to describe a process of doing something step by step. Its function is informative and operative. This essay introduce 6 steps of preparing and giving a good public presentation.

Argumentative Essay

Introduction: The Argumentative Essay is to build a writer's own argument or opinion and to use evidence and logic to convince readers. This Argumentative Essay states that Chinese social credit score is a wrong and counterproductive idea.

Problem & Solution

Spring 2017, freshmen year

Introduction: The Problem and Solution Essay is to refer to a current social problem and discuss multiply solutions. It aims to offer the best policy that a writer believes. This essay focuses the problem that U.S. government is overloaded by forgiving the student loan debt.

Rhetorical Analysis

Spring 2017, freshmen year

Introduction: The rhetorical analysis is to summarize and analyze rhetorical devices in an article. This analysis contains three appeals: patho, etho, and logo. Patho is applying emotional approaches and etho is building credibility of a writer. While logo is using logic. The topic of this rhetorical analysis is about an news report " End in Walking" by Malchik. It is a social focus that worth being discussed.
